School bus emits smoke in Secunderabad Cantonment, students safe
A school bus carrying 25 students emitted smoke from its engine in Secunderabad Cantonment on Thursday morning. The driver and army personnel acted swiftly, ensuring all students were safe and shifted to another bus. No injuries were reported.

Hyderabad: A school bus carrying 25 students emitted smoke from its engine at the AoC centre in Secunderabad Cantonment on Thursday around 8 a m, causing mild tension.
The incident occurred as the bus was proceeding towards Mahendra Hills in the Cantonment.

The bus driver noticed thick smoke emanating from the engine and quickly opened the bus doors to ensure the students’ safety. Army personnel on duty promptly used fire extinguishers to douse the smoke, while commuters passing through the area assisted the children.
Tirumalagiri inspector G Nagaraju told Telangana Today, “All students are unhurt and shifted to another school bus. Nobody, either the driver or the students, are hurt in the mishap.”
Traffic stopped for a few minutes on the stretch.
