Kurnool: A school in Pattikonda town was closed down over two of the students tested positive for coronavirus on Monday.

A couple of days back, two students were found with COVID symptoms in the school. On Monday they were taken to the hospital where they underwent COVID tests. When they tested positive, the management of the school with a strength of 400 students, immediately announced closure.

There were 147 new coronavirus cases reported in the State on Monday.

Of the 22,604 samples tested, 0.65 percent of them tested positive.
