Scores of Congress, BJP workers join TRS
Fasiuddin urged voters not to be misled by leaders from other parties who were making false statements during elections and said the TRS would teach a stern lesson to those trying to divide people on the lines of religion and caste.
Hyderabad: Scores of party workers belonging to the Congress and the BJP on Wednesday joined the TRS in the presence of Deputy Mayor Baba Fasiuddin. Those who joined the party from Baba Sailani Nagar, Banjara Nagar, Santosh Nagar and surrounding areas of Borabanda municipal division were welcomed into the party fold.
Fasiuddin urged voters not to be misled by leaders from other parties who were making false statements during elections and said the TRS would teach a stern lesson to those trying to divide people on the lines of religion and caste. He said people were leading a happy life as a single community.
Borabanda people had suffered badly with no basic amenities before the TRS won in the 2016 GHMC elections and undertook development activities. The Deputy Mayor said that he kept all the promises he made to the people in his division in the previous elections and urged the voters to once again give full mandate to the TRS in the ensuing elections. TRS Borabanda division president Krishna Mohan, senior party leaders and workers of Santosh Nagar basthi were part of the election campaign.
