Kothagudem: MLA Vanama Venkateshwar Rao has assured that justice would be done to the families displaced in the South Central Railway (SCR) demolition drive here.
He asked the District Collector, D Anudeep to make arrangements for a temporary shelter and food to the victims. The families were shifted to Government High School in Patha Kothagudem where a rehabilitation centre was set up for them.
Venkateshwar Rao interacted with the families on Wednesday and said that he would soon meet the Chief Minister, K Chandrashekhar Rao and apprise him about the matter seeking to find a suitable solution to their problem.
TRS leader Vanama Raghavendra Rao, ZP Vice Chairman K Chandrasekhara Rao, Municipal Chairperson Kapu Sita Lakshmi, Municipal Vice Chairman Damodar Yadav, Municipal Commissioner A Sampath Kumar and others were present.
