SCR holds meeting with passenger associations of twin cities

Bhartesh Kumar Jain, Divisional Railway Manager of the Secunderabad Division, and Lokesh Vishnoi, Divisional Railway Manager of the Hyderabad Division, attended meetings with representatives from various organizations, including the DRUCC, Twin-Cities Suburban Travelers Association, Sr. Citizen’s Association, Ammuguda, Sri Raghavendra Nagar Colony Welfare Association, Vivekanandapuram Welfare Association, and the SCR Rail Fans Association.

Hyderabad: The South Central Railway (SCR) held meetings with various passenger associations from the twin cities regarding improvement of MMTS (Multi-Modal Transport System) and sub-urban train services at their respective divisional headquarters.

Bhartesh Kumar Jain, Divisional Railway Manager, Secunderabad Division and Lokesh Vishnoi, Divisional Railway Manager, Hyderabad Division, participated in the meetings with representatives from DRUCC, Twin-Cities Suburban Travelers Association, Sr. Citizen’s Association, Ammuguda, Sri Raghavendra Nagar Colony Welfare Association, Vivekanandapuram Welfare Association and SCR Rail Fans Association.

The DRMs held detailed discussions with the passenger associations regarding measures to be taken to further improve the operations MMTS services. The representatives provided suggestions regarding enhancing punctuality, increasing patronage of MMTS trains, remodeling of Hylites app, extension of services etc. The members also represented provision of additional stoppages and restoration of MMTS trains in different routes.

The DRMs assured on examining their suggestions and taking steps to provide the best train services to the people in the twin-cities region.

A press release said that the SCR General Manager, Arun Kumar Jain, is personally monitoring the punctuality of MMTS services and that he had advised the divisions to avoid delays in MMTS trains and focus on maintaining punctuality.
