Hyderabad: In order to clear the extra rush of passengers during the festive season, the South Central Railways (SCR) will run special trains between Hyderabad and Kollam.
Train number 07117 (from Hyderabad to Kollam) will leave the originating station at 2.10 pm on December 21, reaching Kollam at 9.40 pm the next day. The returning train number 07118 (from Kollam to Hyderabad) is scheduled to depart from Kollam at 2.30 am on December 23, reaching Hyderabad at 8 am on the next day.
Enroute these trains will stop at Secunderabad, Cherlapalli, Bhongir, Jangaon, Kazipet, Warangal, Mahbubabad, Dornakal, Khammam, Vijayawada, Tenali, Bapatla, Chirala, Ongole, Kavali, Nellore, Gudur, Renigunta, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Coimbatore, Palakkad, Thrissur, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Chengancheri, Tiruvalla, Chengannur, Mavelikara and Kayamkulam stations in both the directions. Train number 07118 will also stop at the Kondapalli railway station.
Both trains consist of AC II tier, AC III tier, sleeper class and general second-class coaches.
