Scrap worth Rs 15 lakh destroyed in fire at Dubbak
A major fire broke out at a scrap shop in Dubbak town on Friday, reportedly due to a short circuit. Scrap material worth nearly Rs 15 lakh and two two-wheelers were destroyed before firefighters brought the flames under control.
Siddipet: A large quantity of scrap was gutted in a fire at Dubbak town on Friday after a suspected short circuit triggered the blaze. Scrap worth nearly Rs.15 lakh and two two-wheelers were destroyed in the incident.
On receiving information, a fire tender reached the spot and brought the flames under control after two hours of effort. The owner of the scrap shop appealed to the government for financial support, stating that he had suffered heavy losses.
