“We will certainly stand with our citizens in ensuring the unwarranted inconvenience is addressed,” Rao tweeted in response to tweets from local NGO Green Sainikpuri, asking him to look into the closure of roads.

Arvind Kumar, responding to the Minister’s tweet, said he would take it up with the General Officer Commanding, Telangana & Andhra Area and sit with their team to try and arrive at mutually agreeable openings at the earliest.

CS Chandrashekhar of Green Sainikpuri thanked the Minister for intervening in the issue.

“A total of 21 roads have been closed in SCB jurisdiction in 2018. We will submit the documents on roads closure and inconvenience faced by public in the meeting,” he said.
