Hyderabad: In view of the major redevelopment and upgradation works underway at Secunderabad Railway Station, South Central Railway (SCR) has announced the temporary shifting of 18 trains to other terminals between October 27 and November 26.

The move aims to ease congestion and ensure smooth train operations during modernization works at Secunderabad, one of the busiest stations in the region.

According to an SCR release, several trains will now originate or terminate at Malkajgiri, Hyderabad, and Charlapalli stations instead of Secunderabad.

Key changes in train terminals:

Malkajgiri Station: Trains 77656, 77653, 77654, and 77655 (Secunderabad–Siddipet routes) will be shifted here.

Hyderabad Deccan (Nampally): Trains 12025/12026 (Pune–Secunderabad–Pune) will be operated from this terminal.

Charlapalli Station: Long-distance trains including Secunderabad–Silchar (12513/12514), Secunderabad–Darbhanga (17007/17008), Secunderabad–Yesvantpur (12735/12736), Secunderabad–Agartala (07030/07029), Secunderabad–Muzaffarpur (05293/05294), and Hyderabad–Raxaul (07051/07052) will operate from here.

SCR officials urged passengers to take note of these temporary arrangements and plan their journeys accordingly.
