Sekhar Kammula assures Komali of giving a chance
The announcement came soon after director Sekhar Kammula met her on Wednesday to clear the air on the song which was a raging hit on social media.

Bringing an end to the controversy surrounding the ‘Saranga Dariya’ song, folk singer Komali came before the media and announced that she have no objection to the song being used in the upcoming movie ‘Love Story’.
The announcement came soon after director Sekhar Kammula met her on Wednesday to clear the air on the song which was a raging hit on social media.
The song Saranga Dariya was originally composed and sung by folk singer Komali during a television show aired in MAA. Later, it was incorporated in Sekhar Kammula’s next ‘Love Story’ with a few changes made by lyric writer Suddala Ashok Teja.
Stating that he couldn’t meet singer Komali all these days due to miscommunication, director Sekhar said he wanted to meet her today to clear the air over it. “I assured her that I would take her on board for any future projects and I would give her an opportunity as I had promised on my social media platform. Komali garu felt very happy about the gesture,” he said.
Komali said, “all these days I expressed my sadness through media that I couldn’t sing the Saranga Dariya song. Director Suresh who introduced the song Relare Relare to this world, has introduced me to Sekhar Kammula garu”.
Komali will be singing Saranga Dariya song on stage during the pre-release event.
