Hyderabad: City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar interacted with the Sub Inspectors of the 2020 batch who completed their basic and field training and joined the city police ranks.
Interacting with the new officers, he said that the State government gave 33 per cent reservation for women and due to this, of the 162 Sub Inspectors, 61 are women candidates.
“Self-discipline and personal conduct are very important in the department. One must maintain peace and harmony at the police station and shall work as a team for better delivery of service,” the Commissioner advised the gathering.
He told them as young officers, they have a lot of scope for the betterment of society. “Everyone should maintain physical and mental fitness, upgrade their knowledge and learn technological initiatives being introduced in the Police department. There is zero tolerance to work placement harassment,” Anjani Kumar said.
