Seminar on famous Sufi Saint at MANUU on Monday
Dr. Syed Shah Khusro Hussaini, Chancellor, Khaja Bandanawaz University (KBNU), Gulbarga, will take part as chief guest and MANUU in-charge Vice-Chancellor Prof SM Rahmatullah will preside over the inaugural event
Hyderabad: Department of Persian, Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) in collaboration with National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language (NCPUL) is organising a two-day national conference on the Sufi Saint ‘Khaja Bandanawaz Gesu Daraz, sayings, Letters, Publications, Teachings and Services: With reference to Persian sources’, on March 22 and 23.
Dr. Syed Shah Khusro Hussaini, Chancellor, Khaja Bandanawaz University (KBNU), Gulbarga, will take part as chief guest and MANUU in-charge Vice-Chancellor Prof SM Rahmatullah will preside over the inaugural event.
Aghai Ustad Dr Nematullah Iranzada, Aghai Dr Ali Razapur Mohammad, Bulgaria, Prof Sk Ishtiaque Ahmed, Department of Persian, JNU will also take part in the conference which will be webcast live on IMC, MANUU YouTube channel.
The department is also organising Raja Dhanrajgir Memorial lecture on March 23.
According to Department of Persian, head, Prof Aziz Bano, eminent scholar from Centre of Persian & Central Asian Studies, JNU, New Delhi, Prof SK Ishtiaque Ahmed will deliver a lecture on ‘Persian Language, Literature, Culture and Civilisation’. Rajkumari Indra Devi Dhanrajgir will be the chief guest, the MANUU said.
