Hyderabad: The stage has been set for senior politician Motkupalli Narsimhulu to join the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS). He will be inducted into the party-fold by TRS President and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao at the party headquarters in Telangana Bhavan on Monday afternoon.
Narasimhulu, a senior Dalit leader, had quit the BJP about four months ago, alleging that the BJP leadership failed to utilise his vast political experience and did not consider his opinion on various issues including induction of former Minister Eatala Rajender into the party.
He also had differences with the party leaders on him attending the all-party meeting convened by Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on implementation of SC community issues and implementation of Dalit Bandhu scheme. He had earlier served in various positions in Telugu Desam Party (TDP) in erstwhile Andhra Pradesh.
