Hyderabad: The Sports Journalists Federation of India (SJFI) expressed profound grief and sorrow over the untimely demise of senior sports journalist Jaswinder Sidhu , who tragically lost his life in a road accident in Delhi on Sunday night.
Jaswinder Sidhu was a respected and dedicated sports journalist who served with distinction for several leading newspapers during his long and illustrious career. His professionalism, integrity, and commitment to sports journalism earned him the admiration of colleagues and the sporting fraternity across the country.
SJFI extended its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, friends, and colleagues of Jaswinder Sidhu. We pray that the Almighty grants eternal peace to the departed soul and gives strength and courage to his family to bear this irreparable loss.
The entire sports journalism fraternity mourns the passing of a distinguished colleague whose contributions to the profession will always be remembered, the SJFI said in a release.
