Servant, aide held for burglary in Adilabad’s Boath mandal
Police in Adilabad’s Boath mandal arrested a servant and his aide for burglary, recovering 1.4 kg of silver and 15 grams of gold. The accused confessed to stealing ornaments and cash from his employer’s house using CCTV evidence.

Adilabad: A servant and his accomplice were arrested for allegedly burgling both silver and gold ornaments in Boath mandal centre on Friday. Police recovered 1.4 kg of silver and 15 grams of gold from the two.
Boath Inspector Guru Swamy said that Arjun Thade and his friend Rathod Ganesh were arrested on charges of stealing silver, gold ornaments and cash Rs 2,000 from his employer Dharavath Vinod’s house in Boath on July 26. They were detained with the help of CCTV footage.
During an interrogation, Arjun reportedly confessed to committing the crime by taking assistance from Ganesh. He admitted to stealing the ornaments when Vinod was not present at home. He disclosed that he stole the ornaments by breaking an iron box, while Ganesh was keeping a watch at the time of theft.
