Police in Adilabad’s Boath mandal arrested a servant and his aide for burglary, recovering 1.4 kg of silver and 15 grams of gold. The accused confessed to stealing ornaments and cash from his employer’s house using CCTV evidence.
The notorious Chaddi gang struck twice in Mancherial on Tuesday night, stealing cash and a mobile phone before fleeing when police patrols intervened. CCTV footage captured their movements, sparking concern among residents who demand stronger night security.
The duo was detained when they were trying to flee during a vehicle check conducted by CCC Inspector K Kumaraswamy and CCS Inspector Ramanababu at Thollavagu in Mancherial town.
