Seven arrested for gambling in Telangana’s Adilabad

Seven individuals were arrested near Dimma village in Adilabad Rural mandal for involvement in banned gambling. The CCS acted on a tip-off, apprehending the accused during the illegal activity. They were handed over to local police for further investigation

Adilabad: Seven persons were arrested by sleuths of the CCS for their alleged involvement in banned gambling on the outskirts of Dimma village in Adilabad Rural mandal on Tuesday.

CCS Inspector Chandrashekhar said that Bompalli Suresh, Surukunta Harish Reddy, Maddikunta Purushottam, Addi Narender Reddy, Maddikunta Venkanna, Loka Krishna Reddy, and Soma Ganesh Reddy were apprehended while committing the offence following a tip-off. They were handed over to Adilabad Rural police for further action.
