Seventeen-year-old girl dies by suicide after harassment in Mancherial

A 17-year-old girl, Boddu Aishwarya, died by suicide at a government college in Dandepalli mandal, Mancherial, allegedly due to harassment by a youngster pressuring her in the name of love. Police are investigating the case.

Mancherial: A 17-year-old girl died by suicide after she was allegedly harassed by a youngster under the guise of love at a government college in Dandepalli mandal on Saturday.

Dandepalli Sub-Inspector Tahseenuddin said Boddu Aishwarya consumed pesticide, unable to bear the harassment. The youngster had reportedly been stalking her and pressuring her to marry him in the name of love.
