Hyderabad: A massive explosion occurred at a chemical factory in the Patancheru industrial area on Monday, reportedly leaving over 20 workers seriously injured and several others trapped.
The explosion, suspected to have been caused by a reactor blast, took place at a factory located in Pashamailaram. The blast triggered a huge fire, engulfing parts of the facility and creating panic in the vicinity.
Several fire engines were rushed to the spot, and firefighting operations were underway to bring the blaze under control. Emergency teams were working to rescue those trapped inside the factory premises, according to initial reports.
