Several injured after TGRTC Indra bus turns turtle in Khammam
Police and RTC officials arrived at the scene and transported the injured to Government General Hospital in Khammam for medical care. Among them, three individuals reportedly sustained severe injuries. Expressing his concern over the incident, Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy urged officials to provide the best possible treatment for the injured
Khammam: An Indra bus of the TGRTC toppled near Tanikella of Konijarla mandal in the district injuring several persons.
The incident occurred when the bus belonging to Sathupalli depot was going to Sathupalli from Hyderabad. There were 12 passengers in the bus when the accident took place as the bus driver tried to avoid hitting a vehicle coming in the opposite direction. The windshield of the bus was broken besides other damages to the bus.
Police and RTC officials reached the spot and shifted the injured persons to Government General Hospital in Khammam for treatment. Three persons were said to be injured severely. Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy expressed grief over the incident and directed the officials to ensure better treatment to the injured.
