Shourya shines with double crown in Telangana Sub-junior Badminton Championship

Srichethan Shourya Samala clinched both the boys’ under-15 singles and doubles titles at the Suhas Memorial Telangana Sub-junior Badminton Championship held at RRC Indoor Stadium, Hyderabad. The event saw strong performances across under-15 and under-17 categories in singles, doubles, and mixed doubles.

Hyderabad: Srichethan Shourya Samala bagged a ‘double’ winning the boys under-15 singles and doubles titles in the Suhas Memorial prize money Telangana Sub-junior badminton championship at RRC Indoor Stadium here.

In the singles final, Shourya defeated Chinmay Wankhede 15-8,15-8 and then combined well with V. Charan to defeat S. Ramakrishna and P. Roshan 15-7, 15-13 in the doubles final.
