The Formation Day accompanied by all its creative activities motivated and inspired the younger generation not only to value the cherished ideals of the state but also to involve themselves in nation-building activities.
The youngest of all the States in the country, Telangana marked its eighth Formation Day on June 02, 2021. DPS Nadergul organised a virtual assembly to showcase the rich cultural tapestry that Telangana is famous for. Painting competition and podcasts were organised for children of classes I-X, the underlying theme being the various cultural aspects of the State. The competition witnessed the highly enthusiastic participation of children cutting across all grades along with their parents and grandparents.
A State is not merely a geographical area. It signifies a shared socio-cultural web that binds humans together- history, food, custom, climate and most importantly language. Formation Day of a State is the beginning for the common threads that hold together its people, speakers at the event said.
