The youngest of all the States in the country, Telangana marked its eighth Formation Day on June 02, 2021. DPS Nadergul organised a virtual assembly to showcase the rich cultural tapestry that Telangana is famous for. Painting competition and podcasts were organised for children of classes I-X, the underlying theme being the various cultural aspects of the State. The competition witnessed the highly enthusiastic participation of children cutting across all grades along with their parents and grandparents.
A State is not merely a geographical area. It signifies a shared socio-cultural web that binds humans together- history, food, custom, climate and most importantly language. Formation Day of a State is the beginning for the common threads that hold together its people, speakers at the event said.
