Shreyas Iyer to lead India in T20I series against Zimbabwe

Shreyas Iyer will captain India in the three-match T20I series against Zimbabwe in Harare later this month, while Shubman Gill will lead the ODI side against England. Shivam Dube has replaced Nitish Kumar Reddy in the ODI squad

Hyderabad: Shreyas Iyer will continue as captain of the Indian team for the forthcoming three-match T20 International series against Zimbabwe to be played in Harare from July 23 to 26.

The team: Shreyas Iyer (Captain), Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Abhishek Sharma, Tilak Varma (Vice-Captain), Ishan Kishan (WK), Shivam Dube, Suryansh Shedge, Rinku Singh, Harsh Dubey, Varun Chakaravarthy, Prince Yadav, Yash Thakur, Ashok Sharma, Mayank Yadav, Prabhsimran Singh (WK).

India will play three T20Is on July 23, July 25 and July 26, all in Harare.

The Selection Committee has named Shivam Dube as a replacement for Nitish Kumar Reddy in India’s squad for the ODI series against England.

Meanwhile, India’s updated ODI squad was also announced, with Shubman Gill as captain.
