Siddipet: BLIA donates oxygen concentrators, protective gears to fight Covid

Siddipet: The representatives of Buddha Light International Association (BLIA) of Malaysia presented Rs 10 lakh worth of oxygen concentrators, N-95 masks, PPE kits and other Covid-19 protective gear to Siddipet district administration in the presence of Finance Minister T Harish Rao in Siddipet on Saturday. BLIA director Magnesh, manager Vamshidhar Reddy and DXN Company Industries PRO Chandrakanth and others met Harish Rao at his residence to hand over the material to the district administration.
DXN, which is setting up an industry close to Siddipet town, is founded by Malaysian industrialist Dr Lim, who carries out various social activities through BLIA.
Thanking BLIA for its gesture, Harish instructed OSD Balaraju to utilise the oxygen concentrators by placing them at various health centres. Saying that the concentrators would help them get treatment at home instead of visiting a hospital, the Minister said that SIF (Sunyathi Foundation International) director Pratheek had played a vital role in getting the oxygen concentrators to meet the emergency needs here. He further said that they were expecting to get more such concentrators from them.
Appealing to the corporate companies to join the government to support the people during the pandemic, the Minister called upon them to donate oxygen concentrators and other protective gear to government hospitals. Telangana State Forest Development Corporation Chairman Vanteru Prathap Reddy and others were present.
