Siddipet: A government school teacher from Siddipet district has been selected for the “teachers exposure visit and educational exchange programme”. English teacher Vanga Manjula Reddy was the only teacher to get the opportunity from Siddipet district.
Manjula, who was working at Primary School Thunki Khalsa in Wargal mandal, was among the 29 teachers selected from across Telangana for the exposure visit by the Telangana government. The teachers will travel to Japan, Finland, Singapore and Vietnam from September 5. The team will participate in multiple programmes across these four countries during their seven-day visit.
Speaking on the occasion, Headmaster of the school Puli Raju said that Manjula deserved the selection more than anyone else since she had extraordinary ability and commitment to teaching the students. Hailing her services at the school, Raju said that Manjula had guided the students to improve their language skills. Teachers Vimala, Rukmini, Zareena, Parvin and Pravalika felicitated Manjula on her selection. The students and parents also congratulated the teacher. The government wanted these selected teachers to learn a few efficient methods from the visiting countries and replicate them in their respective schools.
