Siddipet: Zilla Parishad Chairperson Roja Sharma hailed the efforts of Serum Institute and Bharat Biotech for developing Covid vaccines. She was speaking after launching the vaccination drive at Area Hospital, Siddipet on Saturday. Dr Ch Sara Smitha was the first to receive the vaccine shot in the district.

The ZP Chairperson said that they will administer vaccine to 1,790 frontline warriors. She said the Covid- 19 pandemic shook the world by claiming lakhs of lives and impacting crores of people.
