Sidhanth, Debanshi claim under-13 titles at UTT National Rankings

Hyderabad: Karnataka;s M Siddhanth and West Bengal’s Debanshi Chakraborty clinched the boys and girls under-13 titles respectively in the first UTT National Ranking Table Tennis Championships at the SAMA Indoor Stadium in Vadodara on Friday.
In a “battle of the left-handers” final, Siddhanth was at his clinical best, shutting out West Bengal’s Rajdeep Biswas 3-0, denying the newly crowned Under-11 boys’ champion a double title. In the all-Bengal girls’ summit clash, Debanshi overcame teammate Titash Chatterjee 3-1, capping a week of intense competition that showcased the depth of India’s emerging table tennis talent.
Rajdeep, Adya win Under-11 titles
In the Under-11 Youth Boys’ singles final, West Bengal’s Rajdeep Biswas held his nerve in a see-saw battle to edge out Karnataka’s Arnav Mithun 3-2, mixing controlled aggression with patient rallies to clinch the decider 11-6. In the Under-11 Youth Girls’ singles summit clash, Maharashtra’s Aadya Baheti showcased remarkable composure, fending off a spirited challenge from Karnataka’s Sakshya Santosh to register a 3-1 victory, sealing the win with a tense 13-11 finish in the fourth game.
