Sidharth and Nishitha win under-14 AITA tennis titles in Khammam

Hyderabad: D Sidharth Reddy and AR Nishitha Reddy, both from Telangana, won the boys and girls singles titles respectively in the AITA Championship Series tennis tournament (under-14) at Sardar Patel Stadium in Khammam on Thursday.

In the boys final, Sidharth of Telangana defeated his teammate Arjun Kola 6-3, 6-0, while Nishitha, also of Telangana, scored a 6-2, 6-2 win against her teammate Kundapapriya Mukkamala in the girls final.


In the boys doubles final, Shlok Vinayak Reddy and Sai Sahara Reddy of Telangana recorded a 6-4, 6-4 win against the Maharashtra duo of Keshav Sudarshan Bhayya and Agastya Vikas Tapkir.

Boys Singles: D Sidharth Reddy bt Arjun Kola 6-3, 6-0

Boys Doubles: Shlok Vinayak Reddy & Sai Sahara Reddy bt Keshav Sudarshan Bhayya & Agastya Vikas Tapkir 6-4, 6-4

Girls Singles: AR Nishitha Reddy bt M Kundapapriya 6-2, 6-2
