Singareni employee dies in road accident in Peddapalli

The incident took place when the bike carrying the victim accidentally plunged into the rivulet from the bridge over Bokkalavagu near Kalvacherla, resulting in his immediate death.

Peddapalli: A Singareni employee died when a bike plunged into a rivulet near Kalvacheral on Peddapalli-Manthani main road on Thursday morning.

Urakonda Raj kumar (40), who is working as assistant foreman in Adriyala Longwall Project, met with an accident.


The incident occurred when the bike wherein the victim was moving accidentally plunged into the rivulet from the top of the bridge constructed across Bokkalavagu near Kalvacherla. He died on the spot.

A native of Rajapur of Ramagiri mandal, Raj Kumar is staying in Singareni quarters at Centenary colony.

Knowing about the incident, police visited the spot and shifted the body to hospital for postmortem.
