Hyderabad: Singer Monali Thakur was hospitalised reportedly after facing breathlessness while performing at the Dinhata festival in West Bengal.
According to reports, the singer had to stop her performance midway after suffering from breathlessness. Later, she was seen taking medical assistance from her team. However, she continued to face severe difficulty in breathing after which she was rushed to a private hospital in the middle of her concert.
Though reasons behind her sudden health issue is still unknown, people speculate that the cause of exhaustion might be due to back-to-back concerts and performances by the singer in different states.
The singer who is known for her popular songs such as ‘Sawaar Loon’ and ‘Moh Moh Ke Dhaage’ was one of the top artists invited to perform at the Dinhata Festival held to mark the 98th birth anniversary of North Bengal Development Minister Udayan Guha’s father and former minister Kamal Guha.
Earlier, the singer also made headlines for abruptly stopping her performance in Varanasi in December due to inadequate arrangement. The singer accused the organisers for being ‘unethical’ and ‘irresponsible’ and ended her performance midway, shocking fans.
