Hyderabad: The Students Islamic Organisation (SIO) organised a round table meeting on ‘Education Budget Recommendations’, and formally submitted a booklet titled “Education in Telangana: Budget, Challenges and Suggestive Recommendations 2026–27,” which includes research-based policy proposals for the upcoming financial year, on Thursday.

Academician Prof S A Shakoor emphasised the need for strategic planning in the minority budget and proposed an increase from Rs 3,000 crore to Rs 5,000 crore in the forthcoming state budget.
