Hyderabad: The Special Intensive Revision of Electoral Rolls in all the 15 Assembly constituencies of Hyderabad district is set to commence on June 25.

A total of 4,062 Booth Level Officers (BLOs) are being deployed to cover 4,062 polling stations in these assembly constituencies. The designated BLOs will conduct door-to-door visits for distribution of the enumeration form or verification from June 25 to July 24 between 9 am and 6 pm.

During the process of the SIR, the electors will have to provide accurate data and check the registration status to establish themselves as genuine voters.

The electors can fill the enumeration form if they do not receive it from the BLOs, or use the ‘Book a Call’ service by phone using the contact number of the BLOs available at https://ceotelangana.nic.in or download from the website https://voters.eci.gov.in/ and through the ECINET App, a senior GHMC official said.

As on June 10, the total number of electors was 47,36,669, including 23,99,880 male electors, 23,36,448 female electors, and 341 third-gender electors. According to the official, as on May 26, of the 47,36,669 electors, 22,09,647 were mapped with a 46.65 mapping percentage.

During their door-to-door visit, the BLOs will distribute pre-printed enumeration forms in duplicate to the existing electors and the electors will have to fill in relevant details. The voters can also search their details on the official website: https://ceotelangana.nic.in/ and https://voters.eci.govi.in. Help desks have been established at all 15 ERO offices, as well as at the offices of the District Election Officer (DEO) and the Commissioner, GHMC to assist the voters.

A change in address can be done after the publication of the draft electoral roll on July 31 using Form 8. If an elector is not available in person to fill in the details in the enumeration form, on behalf of the elector, any adult member of the family can fill in and sign the enumeration form and can submit it. Providing Aadhaar numbers in the enumeration form is optional, officials said.

An ‘Enumeration Completed; sticker will be affixed to every household upon completion of the enumeration process.
