Rajanna-Sircilla: Collector Anurag Jayanthi on Thursday issued show cause notices to two Executive Engineers for their negligence in discharging duties. Notices were issued to A Kishan Rao, EE, Road and Buildings and Devender Kumar, EE, TSMIDC asking them to show cause as to why disciplinary action should not be initiated against them.
It may be recalled that an under-construction bridge being constructed across Mulavagu at Vemulawada temple town collapsed on Tuesday due to heavy rains. Notice was issued to EE as the bridge was cave-in due to his negligence. In another incident, the compound wall of Mandepalli ITI also collapsed due to heavy rains. Founding EE, TSMIDC responsible for the incident, show cause notice was issued.
