Hyderabad: Delhi-based Gallery Dotwalk is presenting an exhibition titled ‘Siren’s Lullaby in the Forgotten Realm’, curated by Premjish Achari at Chitramayee, State Gallery of Art, Kavuri Hills, Jubilee Hills. The exhibition is open to viewing till October 16 from 11 am to 7 pm.
Featuring a diverse array of works by renowned Indian artists, including Ravinder Reddy, GR Iranna, Jagannath Panda, T Vaikuntham, Aji VN, Mahesh Baliga, Sujith SN, T Venkanna, Shobha Broota, the exhibition offers a unique exploration of dreams, memories, and the hidden realms of the mind.
It also features emerging artists who offer fresh perspectives on the themes of dreams and the subconscious, and their works showcase the vibrant and innovative spirit of contemporary Indian art.
Ravinder Reddy, known for his monumental sculptures of women, will be a part of the exhibition exploring the symbolic nature of images and objects.
GR Iranna’s intricate paintings explore themes of identity, memory, and the passage of time. Jagannath Panda’s thought-provoking installations challenge perceptions of reality and invite viewers to contemplate the nature of existence.
Curator Premjish Achari said, “‘Siren’s Lullaby in the Forgotten Realm’ is a testament to the power of art to evoke emotions, spark imagination, and inspire contemplation. Through various mediums, including painting, sculpture, installation, and mixed media, the exhibition invites viewers to journey through their minds’ forgotten realms.”
