Six arrested for selling ganja-laced bhang during Holi in Hyderabad

The State Task Force of the Prohibition and Excise Department arrested six persons for allegedly selling ganja-laced bhang during Holi celebrations in and around Begum Bazaar and Dhoolpet areas of Hyderabad on Tuesday.

Hyderabad: The State Task Force of the Prohibition and Excise Department conducted raids across the city on the occasion of the Holi festival and caught six persons who were selling ganja-laced ‘bhang’ on Tuesday.

The arrested persons are Chintamani Chandan (43), Sahil Singh (20), Bhagat Raj Nandan Yadav (31), Mahesh Chand Sharma (54), Sagar Sharma (41) and Ajay Sharmma (43).

According to officials, the six persons were selling ganja-laced bhang to people on the occasion of the Holi festival in and around Begum Bazaar and Dhoolpet areas.
