Six Congress Councilors from Banswada join BRS in KTR’s presence

Hyderabad: Ahead of municipal elections, the Congress suffered a major setback in Banswada as six councillors from the party joined the BRS here on Tuesday.

BRS working president KT Rama Rao welcomed the six Congress councilors, including Badi Srinivas, Layak, Akbar, Khader, Gangaram, and Writer Raju by offering party scarves.

BRS turncoat MLA from Banswada Pocharam Srinivas Reddy had defected to the Congress after the Assembly elections. The Congress leaders, who joined the BRS were asked to expose Srinivas Reddy’s deceit to people, besides the BRS party.
