Six cybercrime cases solved, six held by Malkajgiri unit

The Malkajgiri Cybercrime police in Hyderabad have successfully solved six fraud cases within a week, arresting six suspects involved in matrimonial, digital arrest, and investment scams.

Hyderabad: The Malklajgiri Cybercrime officials have solved six cases and arrested six suspects during the past week. The cases were registered between April 12 and 18.

Officials said the cases included one matrimonial fraud, two digital arrest frauds and three investment fraud cases.

Investigations found that the suspects were part of networks operating across different parts of the country.

In a relief for victims, police also secured court-approved refunds amounting to Rs 32.73 lakh.
