Medak: As many as six candidates have filed nominations for Medak Local bodies MLC constituency including Dr Vonteri Yadava Reddy of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) party.
Independent candidate G Praveen Kumar has filed two sets of nominations last Thursday while the remaining five had filed their papers on Monday.
Accompanied by Zilla Parishad Chairperson Rekala Hemalatha, MLAs M Padamadevendar Reddy, C Madan Reddy, Chanti Kranthi Kiran, TRS candidate Dr Yadava Reddy, who hails from Gajwel — the Chief Minister’s constituency, has filed his nomination on Monday.
The remaining four candidates, who filed nominations on Monday, were independent candidates. Tuesday is the last date for filing nominations.
