Six nabbed for drug consumption at DJ event in Hyderabad’s Golconda
Six individuals were caught consuming drugs during a raid by Telangana’s EAGLE Force at a Golconda event. Acting on a tip-off, police conducted tests confirming drug use. A case has been registered under the NDPS Act.
Hyderabad: Six persons who had consumed drugs were nabbed by the Telangana Police’s anti-narcotics agency, EAGLE force, following a raid at Taramati Baradari, Golconda, on Saturday night.
Acting on a tip-off, the State Task Force of EAGLE team, along with Hyderabad and Cyberabad police, conducted a raid at ‘More than Friends’, events hosted by DJ Jason.
“Without disrupting the event, the teams conducted a surprise check. Using ABONN urine drug test kits, five tested positive for ganja. Additional testing revealed one more individual positive for Amphetamines. In total, six persons were confirmed as drug consumers,” said Sandeep Shandilya, Director EAGLE Force.
A case has been registered under Sections of NDPS Act, 1985, at Hyderabad Narcotics Police Station and further investigation is in progress.
Those caught are Sarwar- model and actor, Nihar – businessman, Aashi – businessman, Jason – DJ, Yogeshwar – businessman and Abhinash – an analyst in pharmaceuticals.
