Six-year-old girl raped and murdered in Hyderabad suburb
A six-year-old girl was allegedly raped and murdered in Narsingi, on the outskirts of Hyderabad, on Sunday. The suspect reportedly lured the child with chocolates before assaulting and killing her.
Hyderabad: A six-year-old girl was allegedly raped and murdered in Narsingi on the suburbs on Sunday.
As per information available, the suspect had allegedly lured the child by promising to give her chocolates. After gaining her trust, he allegedly sexually assaulted the girl and later killed her.
The child had been missing since Sunday evening. Her parents approached
the Narsingi police and lodged a complaint around 10 pm.
The police registered a missing complaint and began an investigation.
Acting on the complaint, the police examined CCTV footage from the surrounding areas, where they noticed visuals of a man taking the girl away close to her house.
It is learnt that the accused was identified and arrested. More details are awaited.
