Skies turn festive as Hot Air Balloon Festival takes off at Parade Grounds
TGTDC inaugurated the Hot Air Balloon Festival at Secunderabad’s Parade Grounds on Friday evening, with Tourism and Culture Minister Jupally Krishna Rao presiding. The festival will continue through the weekend, featuring balloon flights and glow shows to attract more visitors.

Hyderabad: The skies over Secunderabad turned festive on Friday evening as Minister for Tourism and Culture Jupally Krishna Rao inaugurated the Hot Air Balloon festival at the Parade Grounds.
Organised by the Telangana Tourism Development Corporation (TGTDC), the festival aims to promote adventure tourism and offer residents a unique recreational experience.
As the balloons ascended, large crowds, including families and photography enthusiasts, gathered at the venue to witness the colourful spectacle against the evening sky.
Chairman of the Tourism Development Corporation Patel Ramesh Reddy and Managing Director Kranthi Valluri were also present at the inauguration.
The festival will continue over the weekend, with scheduled balloon flights and glow shows expected to draw visitors to the Parade Grounds.
