SNIST team wins joint title in Smart India Hackathon 2025

Team Vertex from Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology has been declared a joint winner in the hardware edition of the Smart India Hackathon 2025. Four teams from SNIST qualified for the grand finale, showcasing solutions across software and hardware categories.

Hyderabad: Team Vertex from Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology (SNIST) has been declared a joint winner in the hardware edition of the Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2025.

Four teams from SNIST qualified for the SIH 2025 grand finale. Team Margadarsh presented a civic issue reporting app for Jharkhand citizens, while Team Civic Pulse showcased a remote classroom solution for rural colleges in Rajasthan in the software edition. In the hardware edition, Team Vertex developed a VR eye-tracking solution, SNIST said.


The SIH is a national innovation initiative that brings together bright student minds to solve real-world challenges posed by government ministries, public sector units and industry. The SIH 2025 software edition was held on December 8 and 9, while the hardware edition was conducted from December 8 to 12.
