It is reported that he died by suicide due to work stress. However, police are yet to ascertain the exact reason behind the extreme step

Hyderabad: In a tragic incident, a software engineer died by suicide by jumping off a multi storied building at Kokapet in Narsingi on the city outskirts on Friday.

The deceased was identified as Naga Prabhakar, a native of Andhra Pradesh and working for a software firm in Gachibowli. According to police sources, he came to his hostel room at Kokapet and jumped off the seventh floor of the building.

He sustained grievous bleeding injuries and died on the spot. On receiving information, the Narsingi police reached the spot and took up investigation. The body was shifted to Osmania Hospital for postmortem.

It is reported that he died by suicide due to work stress. However, police are yet to ascertain the exact reason behind the extreme step. A case was registered.
