Soon to be married, 24 years old woman dies after falling from roller coaster ride at amusement park

The woman, who was identified as Priyanka, visited the Fun and Food Village with her soon-to-be husband Nikhil.

Hyderabad: In a tragic incident reported in Delhi, a 24-year-old woman died after allegedly falling from a roller coaster ride at an amusement park in the Kapeshera area of Delhi.

The woman, identified as Priyanka, had visited the Fun and Food Village with her soon-to-be husband, Nikhil. “During the ride, when the vehicle had reached its peak, the stand broke and the victim fell straight down, suffering grievous injuries,” an official told media portals.

Priyanka was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where she was declared dead. Police have registered a case based on her fiancé Nikhil’s statement and have initiated an investigation.

Meanwhile, the body of the deceased has been handed over to her family after a post-mortem examination.

The amusement park is yet to issue a statement on the accident.
