Hyderabad: Southern Region defeated North-Western Region 49-43 in the league phase of the Power Grid Corporation of India inter-region kabaddi tournament at Moinabad here on Friday.

Doman Yadav, Executive Director (SR-I), inaugurated the tournament in the presence of Arun Kumar, Chief General Manager (HR), and B Shravan Kumar, Joint Secretary, Telangana Kabaddi Association.
