Hyderabad: Special teams have been formed to trace and apprehend Srinivasa Ravi Teja, the suspect in the hotel room murder case involving Sharon Nikita, Madhapur police said on Wednesday.

The police said the investigation was being conducted from all possible angles. The sequence of events before and after the incident was being verified through CCTV footage, technical evidence and statements of relevant persons.

The parents of Nikita, who was found dead in an OYO room in Madhapur on Tuesday, arrived in the city from Jharkhand on Wednesday.

During the inquest proceedings, the father of the deceased told police that Sharon Nikita and Srinivasa Ravi Teja were previously in a relationship. He, however, said he was not aware of the developments between them thereafter and did not know what exactly had happened before the incident.
