One-month special programme is jointly conducting by Dr Br Ambedkar learning Centre, and the Centre for Carrier and Planning Development (CCPD) of NIT Warangal

Warangal Urban: Dr Br Ambedkar learning Centre, and the Centre for Carrier and Planning Development (CCPD) of the National Institute of Technology, Warangal, are jointly conducting a one-month special training programme for the SC and ST students of NIT Warangal to improve their employable skills.

Prof N V Ramana Rao, Director , NITW, who inaugurated the programme on Wednesday through online mode said that the SC and ST students studying in NITW should take advantage of this opportunity.


He said that for those who are lagging in education, training in English language and communication skills, interview facing, personality development skills, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), Internet of Things (IoT), data programming, etc. will be imparted with the experts from industry and NITW alumni.

Rao also said that the Ambedkar Study Centre would provide specialised training in education for financially backward SC and ST students, and added that among all NIT’s in the country, NITW was the first one to conduct such programme.

S Govardhana Rao, Registrar NITW, Dr J Ravi Kumar SC, ST Cell Coordinator, NITW, Dr K Kiran Kumar, Head CCPD, and about 350 students participated in this inaugural programme.
