Speeding car crashes into Fashion City mall in Quthbullapur, no casualties reported
A speeding car went out of control and crashed into the Fashion City mall at Quthbullapur in Pet Basheerabad, Hyderabad, on Monday. While no casualties were reported, locals warned the sharp curve and pedestrian traffic make the area accident-prone.
Hyderabad: A major accident was narrowly averted when a speeding car rammed into the Fashion City mall, shattering the glass panes at Quthbullapur in Pet Basheerabad on Monday. No casualties were reported.
The car, while heading towards Suchitra Circle, went out of control and rammed into the glass panes of the mall on the main road. The incident was captured on CCTV cameras.
The shopping mall management lodged an online complaint with the Pet Basheerabad police, who booked a case and are investigating.
Locals pointed out that the stretch is accident-prone as the road has a sharp curve and is flanked by several private hospitals and showrooms.
They also noted that pedestrians frequently cross at this point, making it even more risky.
