One person was killed and two others seriously injured after a speeding car rammed into a roadside water vendor’s shed at Durganagar in Hyderabad early Wednesday. The incident occurred under Mailardevpally police station limits, police said.

Police stated that reckless and negligent driving caused the accident. The vehicle was reportedly heading to a farmhouse at the time of the incident.

Anil, a resident of Meerpet, was crossing the road near the MLA camp office on Wednesday evening when he was struck by a speeding car. He suffered severe injuries and was rushed to the hospital, where he succumbed to his wounds on Saturday while receiving treatment. The driver of the car fled the scene following the accident.
