Hyderabad: A major mishap was reported in Malakpet on Wednesday, after a speeding tipper truck lost control due to an alleged brake failure and collided with other vehicles. The mishap occurred near the Tirumala Hills area, causing panic among commuters.
As per available information, the truck was travelling at high speed when its brakes suddenly failed. Unable to stop, the vehicle first crashed into the road divider. The momentum pushed it further ahead, where it violently collided with a lorry and a bus moving on the same stretch.
The impact left all three vehicles heavily damaged. The accident caused heavy traffic congestion on both sides of the road. The Malakpet Traffic police reached the spot immediately and began clearing the damaged vehicles to restore movement.
